I would say that praying about the authority we give God in our lives would be a great Lenten practice, but I'd have to add it to the list of the other 38 (or so) things that I think would make a great Lenten practice. I wonder if it's allowed to do one Lenten practice a day rather than one thing for the whole liturgical season. Hm... Maybe that'd be a penance in itself!
